Before each seminar public Introductory Talks take place in the vicinity
of the seminar venues. They address the general audience, take about 1
½ hours, are non-binding and entry is free.
Every seminar venue is visited twice a year and 4 to 6 introductory talks
take place in those areas.

Reiki 1 - the first degree
Reiki I is the beginning and for most
people also the end of their Reiki path, as the first degree is the most
important and is complete in itself. No re-charge, repetition or subscription
are needed. In the Reiki I seminar the essence of Reiki is conveyed: Reiki
is activated in the hands for life by the four initiations.
The seminar consists of a practical part in which Reiki is activated:
you learn how to treat yourself and other living beings (humans, animals,
plants) with Reiki. In the theoretical part the history of Reiki, its
characteristics, how it takes effect, what it is not and what health truly
means are taught. After the first day the Reiki seminar participant will
already be capable of giving himself Reiki.
No specical requirements or previous knowledge is required, anyone can acquire Reiki and apply it. We also offer seminars for children. It is fascinating to observe how children deal with this energy in a natural and care-free manner. The recommended Age for children seminars is 6 to 12 years.
A seminar usually lasts 14 hours and takes place over 2 days (mostly on weekends).

Reiki 2 - the second degree
The heart of this seminar is the absentee treatment.
At least 2-4 months should pass after Reiki I to gain practical experience with Reiki.
In the Reiki II seminar you learn the absentee treatment, which is a method of sending Reiki across time and space. Furthermore you learn additional techniques to work with Reiki in daily life and specifically to aid your personal growth (i.e. questions like “who am I?” and “what do I want?”). Nevertheless, the most important thing is still the self-treatment and it is not replaced by Reiki II techniques. Harmonising of relationships, protection, letting go of past issues and future-oriented use are further possibilities.
A seminar takes 14 hours and is spread over three evenings (mostly weekdays) or a weekend.

Reiki 3A - the third degree
Interested parties should consider the 3A seminar at the earliest 6 months after the Reiki II seminar, so enough experience can be gained. The seminar takes 3 days and dramatically facilitates personal growth. After this seminar the participant is able to give a so-called “heart-initiation”, which means that Reiki is activated in the hands of others for a limited period of time. Primarily this seminar serves one’s personal development. It can also be seen as a pre-stage to the master degree. The Master Training described on the following page takes at least one year. A 3A graduate is not a Reiki Master and may not call himself one. It is compulsory for each candidate to have an interview with the Master responsible in order to ascertain that the timing and motivation for this step are agreed on both sides. An acceptance to a 3A seminar means that the applicant would also be accepted for the Reiki Master Training.
This seminar takes 24 hours over 3 days.
The cost in Germany is €
1200.- and sFr. 1’880.- in Switzerland.

Training to Reiki Master and Teacher
It takes training of at least one year to achieve, amongst other things, the ability to teach seminars according to the Reiki Network Standards. After successful graduation, the Reiki Master can teach Reiki I and Reiki II seminars. After at least 2 further years, during which the Master actively teaches Reiki, he or she becomes a Reiki Master-Teacher and can thus teach 3A and train Masters.
The Reiki Master Training can be done parallel to regular work. Interested parties receive a detailed description of the training from us.
The cost is the same all over the world: the training to Reiki Master or Reiki Master-Teacher costs the traditional US $ 10,000 plus an adjustment the current time, i.e. a total of sFr. 18’800.- resp. € 12’000.-.
The entire “third degree” (3A seminar, Reiki Master Training
and accompaniment to Reiki Master-Teacher) meets all requirements and
guidelines set by Reiki-Network®.

Reiki Intensive Seminars
Spread over five days on a tiny, mystical island in the Aegean. ... time, … quiet !
Mischa and René organise an “intensive” seminar every spring. “Intensive” because there is a lot of time to teach all techniques extensively and intensively. Although uncertainty is a constant companion in Greece, inexperienced travellers can also participate.

Reiki Seminars for Kids and Teenagers
Children’s seminars are rarely advertised, as they are generally organised on request. One parent has to have Reiki already. Interested parties please contact the Vögtlis or one of the local Coordinators.
After the activation of Reiki in the hands of the children, they draw spontaneous pictures for about 10 minutes. These drawings convey in their own very expressive way what Reiki is.

A children’s seminar lasts about 7 hours and accommodates a child’s need to move and lively attentiveness. Breaks as needed and experience instead of drills. Thus children, too, become soon aware of the method and its many applications. It is preferable to support children early in their development than having to send them to therapy later in life. Not only parents will agree to that.
